Tim has worked across the globe in a range of B2B and B2C sectors including insurance, banking, HR services, transportation, manufacturing, clothing retail and car rentals. 

He has held roles as Regional director in Europe, and MD in the Middle East within quoted group WPP and been an owner operator of his own brand consultancy in New Zealand. Highly commercial, he thinks of himself as a change agent who communicates well at all levels. Leading teams from 4 to 60 people, and directed businesses from start ups to subsidiaries of quoted companies with £50 million turnover and 500 staff, with full P&L responsibility.



Superlux Lighting [manufacturer and wholesaler]

Developed the brand and marketing strategy involving comprehensive market research and competitive analysis. Aligned the business and marketing strategies and made recommendations for structural change. Lead the development & pitch for a major government Tender with the business owner, and helped secure a significant 18 month contract. Developed the roll out strategy for the tender win and lead the sales and marketing team nationwide [New Zealand].

Rentadent Car Rentals [26 franchised branches in New Zealand and Australia]

Clarified the brand proposition, re-defined audience segmentation, developed brand and multi channel marketing strategy. Directed the redesign and roll out of all brand elements including digital, environmental, vehicle graphics, print. Achieved consistent revenue growth of 10-15% per annum over a 3 year period despite a flat sector and extreme competition without cutting rental rates. Fostered buy-in from the franchisees across the network through events, roll out of a brand book and face to face sessions – jointly lead annual conference for 3 years.
