Marie MacDonald
Partner, Head of Employment and Chairman of
Miller Samuel Hill Brown
Marie is one of the leading lights within the employment law world. With many years’ experience, she was first accredited as a specialist in Employment Law by the Law Society of Scotland in 2006 and retains that accreditation which is renewed every 5 years.
She is a member of the Scottish Discrimination Law Association and is co-chair of the International Lawyers Network Labour and Employment Group.
Having joined Miller Hill Samuel Brown early on in her career, Marie has specialised in employment law for over 20 years. As Head of Employment, Marie leads a dedicated employment team as well as having overall responsibility for Employment Law and HR matters within the firm.
Marie is a member of the management board and was appointed Chairman of the firm in 2019.
