Colin is passionate about building businesses through effective marketing strategies, focussed on new customer acquisition and retention. He enjoys working with businesses of all sizes to clarify key customer needs, define their business proposition and build marketing plans which match these together effectively to generate profitable growth.

Colin has 35 years of marketing, sales and general management experience including over 15 years of digital marketing and eCommerce experience in large corporations and SME’s.

In 2006 he started his own eCommerce company which achieved consistent double-digit growth. Since 2017 he has worked with SME’s creating and implementing profit generating marketing plans.

Essity needed new growth for TENA brand in response to competition from new category entrants. As UK Marketing Director, built plan to regain growth and increase market leadership. Succeeded in doubling sales over 3 years to protect brand and achieve 70% market share

eCommerce Retailer

Founded Allanda as Healthcare business to capitalise on new digital and eCommerce opportunities. Designed product range to optimise product offering; mastered SEO, PPC and email marketing; automated customer acquisition process and drove customer retention (98% Feefo Rating). Achieved annual double-digit growth for over a decade through to successful planned exit.

Children’s Products Manufacturer

Evaluated effectiveness of website, marketing activities, and pricing structure. Implemented improvements which increased website visitor levels by 400%. Worked with client to double online sales whilst working within existing budgets.

Healthcare Technology Start Up

Created strong product offer to align benefits of new, patented technology with evolving market. Introduced leading manufacturers to create partnerships to bring product to market in volume.
