Elite Systems GB: Filling pipeline and achieving 30% growth
Business owner Marcus Sutcliffe shares how our proven marketing director Kirsten Bolton helped to empower Elite Systems GB to achieve £11m turnover amidst distractions and low conversions.
Challenge
Elite Systems GB is £7m turnover modular building manufacturer with its eye on growth but the volume and subsequent quality of enquiries in its sales pipeline were a distraction. Conversions were below average and with ambitions to reach £11m within a 24 month period, the owner of the business, Marcus Sutcliffe, knew he needed help. Marcus completed our 360 Marketing Assessment and following a short discussion with our Part-Time Marketing Director Kirsten Bolton, started working with the business in November 2022.
Solution
Kirsten’s first port of call was to gather and analyse data and create a dashboard that highlighted conversions throughout the customer journey. It was also evident that a CRM would offer a huge advantage across to business so Kirsten facilitated the platform selection process and its implementation. She also assessed the competence of the incumbent marketing agencies and through her experience she was able to determine that one of them was not offering the ROI needed or expected and they were given notice.
Results
Improved conversions: As a result of targeted marketing strategies, Elite Systems saw their enquiries that converted to qualified leads improve from 26% to 36% within 8 months. The business is on target to increase its turnover by approximately 34% in the next financial year.
Agency accountability: With KPIs and a strategic direction, the agencies are now delivering quality support and results with a significant reduction in budget spend. Elite Systems believe that having an independent marketing director on their side has provided them with much more confidence with measurement and budget spend.
Increased visibility: The work Kirsten and the implementation team did for the new CRM has had multiple benefits. Prior to the new system, it took the MD significant time to gather information to make informed decisions. Now with the reports he needs at his fingertips this has freed up his time to concentrate on business growth.
